That's why we were thrilled to spend an afternoon connecting with two incredible local businesses—Elevé Properties and Pottery Studio Bluffton—for a hands-on pottery experience right here in the heart of Bluffton.
Sometimes it's important to step away from the office, try something completely new, and simply enjoy spending time with other local professionals who are equally passionate about serving our community.

A First-Time Pottery Experience
For many of us, this was our first experience working with clay.
Under the guidance of the talented instructors at Pottery Studio Bluffton, we learned how to throw clay on a pottery wheel and experienced firsthand just how much patience, creativity, and craftsmanship goes into every handmade piece.
We spent the afternoon creating fun projects including:
Small cups
Bowls
Oil dipping herb grinders
Decorative pottery pieces
Let's just say...there were plenty of laughs along the way!
While not every piece came out exactly as planned (that's part of the fun!), everyone walked away with a new appreciation for the artistry behind handmade pottery.

As countertop fabricators, we naturally appreciate craftsmanship and working with beautiful materials every day. Seeing another form of craftsmanship—this time through clay instead of stone—was inspiring.

It was refreshing to experience being beginners again and to learn something completely outside our normal day-to-day work.
